Crocheted Cardigan
(Sizes: small and medium )

Materials Required:
- Knitting Worsted - 20 (23) ounces Potter Gold or color
of your choice.
- Plastic Crochet Hook: Size H
Gauge: each motif measures 4
inches

Motif:
Ch 2, work 8 sc in 1st st of ch. (Do not join rounds, place marker
at beginning of each row.) Row 2 Working in back loop of sts only
throughout, * 3 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc, repeat from * all
around. Row 3 through to Row 7 Work 1 sc in each sc working 3 sc
in each corner sc ending 7th row with sl st in the 1st 2 sc to even
row, cut yarn.
Work 62 motifs for small size and 67 motifs for medium size (includes
2 gusset motifs for both sizes.)
Back:
Sew 5 rows of 4 motifs together for small size and 5 rows of 5 motifs
together for medium size.
Front:
Sew 5 rows of 2 motifs together for each front for both sides.
Sleeves:
Sew 2 rows of 4 motifs together for each sleeve for both sizes.
Easing fullness of sleeve at l edge for wrist, sew 2 motifs in place
for each cuff.
To Assemble:
Sew back section and front sections together at shoulders having
4 inches free at back of neck, easing fullness of 1 motif at each
side of neck for small size and having 1 motif free for medium size.
Sew lower 2 motifs together at each side for side seam. Sew sleeves
at armholes to 2 upper motifs of front and back sections. Sew gusset
in position to the 4 free edges of motifs at underarm.
Edging:
Join yarn in center st at back of neck, then working in back loop
of sts only, work 6 rows of sc for small size and 9 rows of sc for
medium size all around cardigan working 3 sc in corner st at each
lower front edge, sl st in next 2 sc to even row, cut yarn.
